The Out-of-Door Academy seeks an Associate Director,Multimedia Content Strategy & Producer to join a forward-thinking school that values creativity, real-world application, and student-centered learning.
Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Associate Director, Multimedia Content Strategy & Producer will be responsible for the following:
Curate and produce multimedia content, ensuring alignment with the school’s core values, mission, and strategic goals across all platforms.
Develop high-quality visual video content, execute strategic communication plans, and ensure consistency and engagement across both internal and external communications.
Identify proactive storytelling opportunities that highlight student experiences, signature programs, and institutional priorities across academics, athletics, arts, admissions, advancement, and alumni engagement.
Collaborate with the Director of Communications and stakeholders to develop video production scripts, storyboards, and shot lists for major institutional productions.
Partner closely with Admissions, Development, Athletics, Arts, and divisional leadership to develop and support multimedia storytelling initiatives aligned with enrollment, engagement, and fundraising priorities.
Demonstrate cooperation with scheduling requests to meet work needs.

Qualifications
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Film Production, Media Production, or related field required.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in video productions, multimedia storytelling, or digital marketing content creation.
Experience working within an independent school, nonprofit, or mission-driven organization is preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in video capture, editing, lighting, sound, and storytelling production techniques.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, iMovie or equivalent professional editing software required.
Experience producing content optimized for social media platforms including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Ability to collaborate across departments and build strong relationships with educators, students, and leadership.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a 12-month full-time exempt position available in July 2026. Compensation is highly competitive and commensurate with experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
