Candidates should demonstrate a successful track record in collaboration with colleagues, personal initiative to innovate in their teaching practices, and a commitment to inspiring students through engaging classroom practice. Candidates should have a keen interest in using math to investigate and answer interdisciplinary questions in both the natural and social sciences. The successful candidate will join a math department committed to inquiry-based learning and the use of assessments designed to develop girls’ love of learning, confidence, and mathematical proficiency.
Responsibilities will also include advising a group of students, facilitating upper school activities, and participating in community events. Experience with curriculum writing and teaching in an integrated math sequence at the high school level is a plus.
