Job Summary:
BB&N is seeking to hire a Human Resources Analyst to manage our benefits, leave, and human resources database administration. In this role, you will be responsible for obtaining and organizing diverse HR information, updating the HR database, coordinating all employee benefits, leave, creating data dashboards, and any HR-related programs. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities Include:
Serve as a primary point of person for all employees regarding benefits eligibility, claims resolution, and plan summary explanations
Collaborate with staff and faculty on the open enrollment process and update plans and programs in our HRIS system
Manage HR records including an array of confidential employee forms
Respond to employee benefit and eligibility inquiries (e.g. benefits enrollments, status changes, PFML, leave requests, etc.)
Process all leave-of-absence requests, workers' compensation applications, position medical, personal, MPFM disability, and FMLA claims with appropriate carriers and organizations and maintain an effective tracking system
Assist with 403B TIAA plan administration and quarterly audits of benefit vendor invoices
Create and manage HR data dashboards; maintain data integrity in systems through ongoing analysis
Responsible for reconciliation and timely payment of all benefit bills and preparing benefit-related reports
In conjunction with the Payroll Team, coordinate the transition from Paylocity to ADP, manage the HRIS system, and assist in troubleshooting payroll issues
Other HR administrative and organizational tasks as required
Skills and Competencies:
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of HRIS & Benefits experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
In addition, the candidate will demonstrate the following:
Previous experience working in benefits
Knowledge of any kind of HR software (Paylocity & ADP), Veracross, Google suite, and expert in Excel/GoogleSheets
Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
Good organizational & data analytical skills
Knowledge of employee benefits, PFML, and HRIS
Professional discretion with confidential information
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
