University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ('UEC') supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We're responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.
Position Summary
Temporary, Full Time, Non-Exempt, Benefited position through 12/31/2025 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
Salary: $4731.91-$5186.90 per month.
Location: CUSBS Campus.
Work Schedule
40 hours per week. Typically Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Some nights and weekend work may be required.

Typical Activities
Under minimal supervision of the Grants Support Director, the Practicum Business Manager will work independently to:
Contract Management:
Manage agency contracts with Procurement, Risk Management, and Director of Practicum Education
Compile required documentation, certification, and approvals for Learning Sites Agreements.
Collaborate with relevant departments to address contract issues.
Monitor compliance with regulations, maintain confidential and time-sensitive material.
Grants Management:
Assists Practicum and Grants Support personnel with grant compliant practicum placements and seminars.
Ensure timely, accurate completion of grant reporting under the direction of the Principal Investigator, Practicum leadership and/or Grant Support Director.
Collaborate with Principal Investigator, Grants Support staff, and partners for effective grant implementation.
Even Management:
Plan and manage events in collaboration with the PD, including proposals and budgets.
Co-lead Practicum Events and manage logistics, working with SMSU Scheduling Coordinator and vendors.
Recruit and supervise volunteers, delegating tasks for events.
Administration:
Oversee medical and non-medical clearance processes with relevant departments.
Securely compile and encrypt student compliance documentation and transfer to university vaults.
Serve as the administrative point of contact and provide support to the Practicum Education Program.
Ensure students meet pre-field and practicum requirements, reporting non-compliance to appropriate Practicum personnel.
Leadership:
Develop ASAs in Practicum Education Program, providing training and oversight on tasks and IPT software.
Guide ASA on agency and supervisor compliance practicum procedures, and placement processes.
Intern Placement Tracking (IPT)
Maintain the IPT databases, ensuring compliance with CSWE standards and practicum documentation.
Address IPT related issues for faculty, students, and supervisors.
Manage ongoing IPT tasks, including audit, form processing, and data reporting.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
2 years in an administrative assistant role.
Other:
Knowledge of placement tracking systems and contract management.
Skills in database management, word processing, contract management, meeting minute.
Ability to ensure compliance with university/state/professional regulations.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with students, staff, faculty and agency representatives.
Ability to conduct office duties including using a computer keyboard, and mouse.
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Ability to travel across the CSUSB campus for events or meetings.
Local travel to outreach and recruitment events may be required. No overnight travel required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a university setting, preferably social work.
