Regional Access Coach/Specialist (Multiple Positions)

The Regional Access Coaches will work with the Office of Special Populations at the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) and will be an integral part of the department's implementation of training and support for students with disabilities. A person in this position has knowledge of instruction and intervention for students ages 3-22 in Tennessee, as well as having a clear understanding of the development of Instructionally Appropriate Individual Education Programs (IAIEPs). This position will support selected districts with implementation of training principles through training, coaching, and direct observation. The goal for the Regional Access coaches is to improve access to instructional practices and intensive intervention, supports, and services with the focus on improving outcomes for students with disabilities.

Regional Access Coaches will provide support for selected Access for All Learning Network districts at the district and school levels to provide access and scaffolds to high-quality instructional materials for students with disabilities.
