The UTHSC embraces four missions: education, research, clinical care, and institutional service, and responsibilities will include these missions. Teaching responsibilities include both didactic course work (online and in person) and clinical supervision of students in the nurse midwifery program and other programs/courses as needed. Teaching experience at the graduate level with the ability to teach full scope midwifery care is desired.
