SUMMARY Founded in 1972 and located on an outstanding campus in Washington, D.C., The Field School serves approximately 370 students in grades 6-12. Field provides students with an inquiry-based curriculum encompassing organized “fields’’ of knowledge taught in an environment that stresses dialogue, analytic thinking, and larger lessons of how young people can grow to become generous, responsible, and self-knowing adults. Field has also just begun its most ambitious capital project to-date, a $20M campus expansion project that includes new athletics facilities, campus meeting spaces and classrooms, and a 15,000-sq. ft.
