The Awty International School seeks a full-time Upper School Biology and Environmental Systems and Societies Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. The school is looking for an energetic, creative person who interacts with students and colleagues in a professional manner and is eager to become part of our Science Department team. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a commitment to teaching in a diverse, multicultural environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Five years of teaching experience 
• BA or equivalent in a science field, preferably with some biology in the degree

Ideal candidate:

• At least 3 years teaching experience in 6-12 grade
• A master’s degree with a concentration in science
• IB Environmental systems and societies experience
• Ability to work collaboratively within the Science Department
• Bilingual, preferably in English and French or English and Spanish
• Able to reach students through diverse teaching methods
• Comfortable doing and designing labs
• Has experience with and is committed to a rigorous academic program
