In compliance with IL’s Equal Pay Act, this position's salary is $2,500 semi-monthly. This temporary position is not benefits eligible.

How will this role contribute to the growth of the Cook community?
Catherine Cook School seeks a vibrant and innovative Long Term Substitute teacher for Middle School Social Studies. This position is responsible for the teaching of writing, close reading, historical inquiry, and current events to Middle School students. A love for the school setting, a passion for teaching and learning, flexibility, strong communication skills, comfort with public speaking, adept at technology, and a sense of humor are a must.

Bachelor’s Degree in Education; M.A. in Education preferred
At least three years of teaching experience at the Middle School level
