The Buckley School in the City of New York, an all-boys K-8 + Academy Year day school, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, is seeking full-time Lower School Assistant Teachers for the 2025-2026 academic year. Assistant Teachers are an integral part of Buckley’s Lower School, working with the Head Teachers in each kindergarten through 4th grade homerooms. Our assistant teaching program allows educators to hone their pedagogical practices as they receive mentorship, coaching and professional development. The end goal of the program is for all Assistant Teachers to feel as though they are equipped with the skills and experience needed to secure a Head Teacher position at a school of their choosing.
