JOB PURPOSE:
The Admissions Coordinator functions as a member of a dynamic admissions team dedicated to providing superior customer service to prospective students and families to maintain a seamless admission and enrollment process. The position supports recruitment and retention through communication, marketing, and events. The Admissions Coordinator handles various administrative duties supporting the Director of Admissions to benefit enrollment and retention for the school’s multicultural and diverse student population from age 2 through 12th grade.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Faculty and staff positions are school-based and in-person.
Assist the Director of Admissions in reviewing admission application credentials for data integrity, documenting all pertinent information in the application system, preparing applications for review upon completion, and recording decisions. Facilitate the creation of student records, and support the enrollment confirmation process. Develop and implement application assessment processes for completeness, accuracy, and integrity. Record all applicant documents and correspondence. Create and run various reports via the Admissions database on the status of applicants and the applicant pool as a whole.
Represent the school to local and international prospective families.
Understand the Rochambeau Advantage and ensures sensitivity to each family’s cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Manage inquiries (email, phone, SchoolAdmin, social media).
Manage calendar events, student testing, and other registrations on admissions platforms (SchoolAdmin, Sign Up Genius, Google Forms, Finalsite).
Support the planning and implementing of Admissions events, including logistics, set-up, managing RSVP, and post-event follow-up for Open Houses and other admissions events.
Demonstrate ability to work with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and locations and demonstrate flexibility.
Conduct tours with potential families.
Contribute to developing relationships with external feeder schools, associations, and counselors.
Manage and expand the parent and student ambassador and Instagram takeover programs.
Contribute to monthly Admissions newsletter to prospective families.
Contribute to developing the marketing materials (online and print).
Propose creative and innovative initiatives to attract and retain students and families.
Ability to work occasional weekends, early mornings, and evenings to represent Admissions at special events or student testing. Keep current with admissions trends.
Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Two to five years of experience in education, preferably in admissions, communications, events, or marketing.
Bilingual French-English; strong in both languages (written and oral).
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands, projects, and responsibilities simultaneously.
The ability to work collaboratively with other community members within a multicultural setting.
Experience with online platforms such as SchoolAdmin, Finalsite, Hubspot, and PowerSchool is a plus.
Experience working on social media platforms.
Experience with Google Analytics is a plus.
Knowledge of the following systems required: Windows operating systems and software, Microsoft Office Suite; Experience with desktop and web-based conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
Experience in private school admissions is a plus.
Anticipated salary range of $70-75k

Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
