The Lycée Français de New York is a world-leading independent bilingual French K-12 educational institution. The Assistant to the Director of DEIB and the Director of SEGL provides administrative and secretarial support to the Director of DEIB and Director of SEGL and is essential to the function of the secondary school as a whole. Strong fluency and excellent writing and translation skills in English and French are required as well as quantitative skills and extensive knowledge and experience using various technology and productivity tools. Coordination with multiple departments, faculty, students, and parents will be required.

A minimum of two years of professional experience in an administrative support position or other related field.
Demonstrated capacity to manage relationships with all multiple stakeholders.
Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple demands and priorities.
A collaborative spirit and strong team ethic.

Must be detail-oriented, have strong interpersonal skills, be able to handle multiple tasks.
Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals both in person and over the phone, via email and in written correspondence.
Ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and make decisions independently; ability to collaborate with others as part of teams.
Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
