The next Director of Finance and Operations will be an experienced, strategic-minded financial and operations officer who is capable of short and long term management processes. The DFO is responsible for the fiscal and facility health of the School. The Director is a member of the senior leadership team, attends and presents at Board meetings and Finance Committee meetings with the Chair of the Finance Committee. The DFO reports to the Head of School and is responsible for advancing a wide variety of financial and operational priorities.
Highland is the largest area independent school and enjoys elite facilities and has developed unique academic programs. The School benefits from a low interest, long-term loan and has a growing endowment. The primary opportunities are to increase non-tuition revenue, continue to improve all forms of compensation, and to grow and manage the endowment.
