This seasonal, part-time position is responsible for working under the direction of David Hymovitz ‘92 the Van Whisnand ’62 Head Coach for Boys Varsity Hockey, and the JV Boys Hockey program, as assistant boys JV hockey coach. This includes promoting a culture and practice of excellence and sportsmanship consistent with the philosophy and policies of Thayer Academy and the program’s long history of achievement. The JV boys assistant hockey coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in all aspects of the junior varsity boys hockey program including managing practices and games, working with head coaches, communicating with families and the Thayer Athletic Department, and supporting student-athletes in the college recruitment process.
