GENERAL SUMMARY:The Roland Park Country School Mathematics Department empowers our students to be confident in their mathematical abilities and to achieve a deep level of mathematical reasoning. We strive to develop mathematicians who can transfer their skills to solve new and complicated problems rather than simply presenting one way of solving equations. Our program relies on an integrated approach to studying mathematics. We focus on problem-solving, critical thinking, and drawing connections among different mathematical concepts.
