Undergraduate Research & Fellowships
University of Tennessee, Knoxville
The Office Coordinator will provide the primary administrative support services for the Office of Undergraduate Research & Fellowships--a dynamic, student-facing department responsible for UT's centralized undergraduate research programming and nationally competitive fellowships support services. Undergraduate Research & Fellowships (URF) is a new office resulting from the merger of Undergraduate Research with National Scholarships & Fellowships. As an office within the Division of Student Success, URF approaches its work with a deep commitment to: diversity, equity, and inclusion; collaboration with faculty and staff across the division and university, as well as with external partners; and working with students to help them identify, develop, leverage, and articulate their academic strengths through the delivery of accessible, high-impact academic support services and programs.
Reporting to the URF Director, the Office Coordinator supports daily departmental operations and interacts routinely with diverse students, faculty, staff, and external partners. The Office Coordinator plays a critical role in URF maintaining a welcoming, safe, and well-run office environment.
