Research Associate, Variety Testing and Agroecology

Responsibilities: The Variety Testing and Agroecology lab is responsible for conducting statewide corn grain, corn silage, and soybean variety trials and developing and sharing research-based information on sustainable agriculture practices, such as cover cropping, living mulch, and crop rotations. The Research Associate holds a key role within this program with responsibility for design, execution, and management of research projects, analysis and reporting of results through both written and oral presentations, supervision and collaboration with program personnel (employees and students), and logistics of daily technical operations, including coordination and allocation of equipment and personnel resources. This job requires travel to outlying locations (10-15%).
