Management Specialist

The University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine, invites applications for the position of Management Specialist for the Center for Ag & Food Security & Preparedness (CAFSP). This position is a combination of Accounting and Program Management. The individual filling this position will work closely with the Associate Director of Operations. For Accounting, the individual will assist with preparation and submission of grant proposals, will also assist with reports for purposes of decision making and planning, and annual grant review. In addition, this individual will be a reviewer in IRIS and will be responsible for creating and renewing contracts. For program management, the individual will assist with planning, developing and maintaining web-based training courses for domestic and international audience, promote established courses to the targeted audience and assign instructors to deliver the courses. Finally, this position will supervise the accounting and logistics staff.
