The University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services (CIS) is recruiting a Solutions Consultant (IPS Public Service Professional 2) to serve the Southern Middle Tennessee Area (Region 1), which includes Bedford, Coffee, Franklin, Giles, Hickman, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Marshall, Maury, Moore, Perry, Rutherford, Wayne, and Williamson counties.

CIS provides consulting and training services to help manufacturers and communities grow, succeed, and create high quality jobs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Solution Consultant is responsible for CIS business development activities in the Southern Middle Tennessee Area. Key responsibilities include cultivating manufacturing customers, developing and managing customer projects, developing partnerships with professional associations and economic development organizations, and conducting marketing and administrative duties.
