County Technical Assistance Service (CTAS)

Location: Nashville, TN

Description: The purpose of this position is to plan, market, deliver and facilitate training programs for county officials across Tennessee. Training programs include job-specific, technical, human resource skills, professional development, management, and leadership development, and special issues. In addition, this position will be responsible for managing the learning management system (LMS), including the day-to-day operation of the system, troubleshooting, and internal training. This position consults with County Officials across Tennessee as well as Tennessee county associations on training needs and develops courses, for CEU approval, based on these needs assessments. This position assists in the development and expansion of new program initiatives as aligned with the CTAS mission and customer needs. The Specialist serves as a vital link in the success of the CTAS statewide training mission.
