The Arts & Sciences Foundation seeks a full-time Events and Business Manager to develop and execute an annual events strategy that aligns with the Foundation's development objectives and supports the College's philanthropic goals, as well as mange the Arts & Sciences Foundation building. The position will create a strategy for a special events program of local, regional and virtual engagement opportunities focused on cultivating and stewarding donor support which will assist the Foundation's development officers to meet fundraising goals in its support of the College of Arts and Sciences and the University. This position will be an integral part of the Arts & Sciences Foundation team and is responsible for working with high-level donors and professional constituents in and beyond the University. The position requires someone who is extremely organized and able to prioritize a multitude of tasks and projects each day. This position will also have responsibility for managing the Arts and Sciences Foundation building to assure superior presentation and operation of the building (interior and exterior). This position will report to the Director of Donor Relations and Communications.
This role requires keen attention to budgetary and logistical details as well as creativity, resilience, and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
