Miriam is seeking a new leader who can adeptly balance the internal and externalobligations of leadership and embrace the many roles that the Principal of thispurposefully small division will play. Although the next Principal need not be anexpert in learning differences, s/he should be deeply familiar with students for whomtraditional schooling has not worked and with families who might have struggled foryears to find the resources and strategies to help their children find success and joyin learning. The next Principal will be a high EQ leader who sees every interaction asan opportunity to build community. S/he will also be an adept collaborator workingclosely with the leadership team and with the Head of the Lower School in the effort
