BB&N is seeking a full-time Content Manager. The Content manager is a member of the Communications Office with shared team responsibility for BB&N communications and marketing.
In coordination with Communications Office colleagues, the Content Manager will convey the story of BB&N through a narrative geared to a variety of audiences, including students, parents, grandparents, prospective families, faculty, staff, and alumni/ae.
Through a combination of assignments as well as self-discovered subject areas, the Content Manager will produce a steady flow of articles, photographs, videos, and social media posts to keep BB&N’s platforms (website, magazine, social media channels, etc.) fresh, dynamic, and engaging.
Photographs and/or videos of diverse school events.
Oversight of the Digital Library
Working closely with the Digital Communications Manager will align social media posts with schoolwide strategy and calendar.
Responsibility for live streaming requests from various stakeholders at the school.
Coordination with colleagues on short- and long-term tactical tasks with strategic goals.
Fostering relationships with key stakeholders to inform and drive content generation plans.
Exploring innovative ways to involve students and parents in developing content creation.
Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent is required with three years of related experience. In addition, the Content Manager will demonstrate the following competencies:
Experience generating dynamic, engaging content in a deadline-driven environment.
The ability to create a high-volume portfolio of high-quality, audience-focused work that augments brand voice and identity.
Skilled at producing content in writing, photography, and videography formats; accomplished with a variety of delivery platforms such as social media and website content management.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive community.
Attention to detail.
Excellent writing skills.
Experience with photography and videography.
Editing and production skills in a variety of media, with a willingness to continually learn and improve.
Strong computer and database skills. Knowledge of Google Workspace and Adobe Creative Cloud preferred.
Ability to align output with the school’s strategic goals and visual/messaging brand.
Collaborative mindset and team player.
Respect and discretion with confidential information.
Ability to occasionally work weekends and evenings, as required.
