Lowell School, a progressive school of approximately 335 students in Northwest Washington, DC, is currently seeking applications for the position of Director of Human Resources to begin immediately. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, the successful candidate will advise the senior leadership team concerning all aspects of human resources at the School. They will be responsible for the administration and management of all areas of human resources operational activities, providing support across the full employee life cycle including supporting recruiting/hiring, managing on-boarding, pay and benefits, performance management, compliance with federal and state statutes/laws, open enrollment, workers’ compensation, unemployment claims and filings, and off-boarding.
