The Advancement Digital Services Manager is responsible for managing Raiser’s Edge NXT database, including ensuring the integrity of financial and constituent data, training staff, and developing operational protocols and policies. Works closely with the offices of Finance, Technology and Admissions. The Manager handles daily gift processing, data entry and other administrative functions. Services as the primary conduit to the Finance office for monthly reconciliations.
Manages, supports and maintains constituent profiles in the Raiser's Edge NXT database,ensuring accurate information and consistent formatting;
Develops a plan to improve the integrity of data of all constituents;
Leads database trainings and acts as a resource for best practices;
Creates and implements data entry standards and processes in coordination with the relevant administrative and faculty members;
Maintains and updates solicitation queries for mailings;
Provides lists and information for school mailings, email communications, school publications, and the website, including detailed donor lists for the Annual Report;
Produces weekly and monthly reporting - statistics on all constituents, analyzing giving trends and outcomes;
Creates event entries, records and maintains RSVP lists, inputs Auction items, and produce reports as needed to support fundraising/stewardship events;
Oversees the weekly, monthly and year-end reconciliation of all gifts with Finance;
Processes and manages online gifts and ensure gift acknowledgements and gift agreements/pledges are scanned and posted in Raiser's Edge NXT database;
Creates systems to track donations and pledge payments for Capital Campaign, Annual Fund, Gala Dinner, Endowment, Alumni Fund, Scholarships, and in-kind donations, including generating pledge reminders, aging report on pledges and cash flow reports, and
Completes prospect research on new parents, grandparents, alumni and others.
Bachelor's degree and 3+years of Raiser's Edge database experience in the education industry
Experience with Blackbaud K-12 (On Suite products) preferred
Excellent computer skills - Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
Excellent written and oral communication; meticulous and highly detail-oriented
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
