Job Description: Accounting Assistant/Family Account Representative Classification: Full Time, Salaried, Non-Exempt Reports to: Assistant Finance Manager & COO
The Accounting Assistant/Family Account Representative reports to the Assistant Finance Manager and COO and is a key member of the Business Office team. This position serves as a main point of contact for families and vendors and is an integral part in building relationships to ensure effective communication for all student billing and vendor accounting needs. Other duties include but are not limited to participating in enrollment contract processing, accounting for tuition and miscellaneous student billing (journal entries, reconciliation, management reports, etc.), preparing and sending monthly statements, effectively manage accounts receivables, and meeting/communicating with families as needed throughout the year. In addition, this position will assist with accounts payable, the credit card process, and audit preparation. There will be various special projects and events, outside of everyday tasks, that this position will be asked to participate in. Key Responsibilities: All administrative functions including but not limited to, enrollment contract processing, student billing and accounts payable, account reconciliations, relationship building with students, parents, faculty and staff. Provide support for special projects and events as needed.
