Summary of Essential Functions:
Program Development and Expansion:
Support the mission, vision, values and full execution for the goals of the Aspen Youth Leadership Institute (AYLI).
Develop and implement strategies aiming to promote and enhance the program’s impact, visibility, and recognition, among both internal and external stakeholders as well as strategic partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
Manage budget monies for AYLI, and strategically select and engage in funding opportunities such as grant writing, sponsorships, donations, etc.
Innovate the program based on ongoing research and development related to best practices in youth leadership development, entrepreneurial instruction, and
Refine and improve upon existing curriculum and programmatic elements, ensuring the ongoing articulation of a uniform, detailed curriculum.
Maintain oversight and design of assessment measures that demonstrate the impact of program among stakeholders including students, faculty and parents.
Design and launch new youth leadership activities and expand co-curricular programming.
Provide support, coaching, and training for all stakeholders (students, faculty, parents) in leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, and financial acumen.
Champion character and leadership development, and financial literacy initiatives and entrepreneurial understanding among Aspen Academy students, faculty, and programs.
Provide learning / training opportunities related to leadership, entrepreneurship, service learning and community service for faculty and parents.
Lead, manage and provide accountability measures for AYLI coach, with oversight on all ancillary and co-curricular leadership programs: BSE, Service Learning, Mentor/Mentee, Student Civic Organization, SCO, etc.
Coordinate activities across Aspen Academy to build key partnerships and relationships in the youth leadership and entrepreneurial development community.
Collaborate with Marketing to showcase the highlights of the program externally and contribute to internal communications.
Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university. Master’s degree preferred.
Demonstrated experience in leadership program management and leadership.
Experience in the field of education including leadership, admin, program design or management, assessment, curriculum development.
Strong understanding of business and leadership development arena.
Depth of experience and foundation in principles and common theories of leadership.
Experience with business start-up or owning personal business.
Training and/or certifications in leadership development programs.
Entrepreneurial mindset and skill set required. Demonstrated experiences of excellent skills in customer service (B2B and/or B2C).
Considerable experience with budget development and management.
Possess dynamic public speaking skills.
Possess excellent organization, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to relate, communicate and collaborate with a broad and varied population of teachers, administrators, students and parents.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Grant permission for a criminal background check upon hire.

Additional Salary Information: Compensation Package:
Aspen Academy offers an excellent compensation package including health, dental, 403(b) with matching and more; wide-ranging opportunities for professional development; and a talented and dedicated staff of teaching professionals and supportive administrators. This is a year-round position.
Salary Range: Starting $65,000-$80,000 (commensurate with experience)
