Dayton Christian School (DCS) announces a national search for the next Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
DCS has a strong history of educating students to know absolute Biblical truth and to love God and others. DCS is well known as a leader in Christian education in the U.S. with an enrollment of 800 students. Momentum has been building over the last three years as DCS continues to build a strong leadership team, appoints aspiring faculty, builds a first-class athletic facility and looks to add new capital expansion initiatives to keep pace with the 30% growth in new students the last two years.

The successful candidate will assume responsibilities June 1, 2021.
The successful CFO candidate will be experienced in providing oversight of resources, budget, and capital initiatives. Candidate will be able to collaborate with other leaders to provide key financial leadership. It will be important to be able to develop a profitability model to find ways to resource new projects and to provide counsel to our Board of Trustees on its commitment to fiduciary responsibilities.
The CFO will be a financial leader with broad finance experience, preferably within a nonprofit with multiple funding sources including government (federal and state) funds. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree and/or a CPA certification is preferred.
