Requisition Number: S_210041 Department: Academic Services & Enrollment Mgmt-7776 Description of Work: The Business Manager will serve as a member on the Academic Services and Enrollment Management leadership team and is responsible for the operational and financial systems that ensure effective and efficient business functions in Academic Services and Enrollment Management (ASEM) and Nebraska College Preparatory Academy (NCPA), its programs and initiatives including grants and project administration (expenditures, contracts (and MOUs) and grant requirements); financial reporting and human resources. In addition, the Business Manager provides support to the Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) including monitoring and preparing reports to assist with data-driven decision-making; assists in financial, human resources and operations processes. This position is the ASEM and NCPA liaison for the Big Red Business Center (BRBC), which includes communicating work processes, serving as a facilitator between BRBC and ASEM or NCPA, sits on the BRBC governance board. Minimum Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field plus more than three (3) years of accounting, grants/contracts, financial or business management experience required. Must have strong communication, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills. Must have knowledge of large integrated financial management systems. Must have ability to proficiently use word processing, and spreadsheet software. Must have working knowledge of grants/contracts, accounting, budgeting, personnel and payroll practices. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Higher Education setting preferred. Report building experience helpful. Experience with SAP preferred. Posted Salary: $60,000 minimum Job Type: Full-Time |
