Meridian Academy is seeking to hire a part-time business associate who would be responsible for the school’s bookkeeping, monitoring tuition collection, and supporting HR and benefits work. This work will take 10-15 hours per month on average with opportunities for expanded responsibilities and hours seasonally. Work on site will be needed at least once every other week, but some of the work may be done remotely.
We are seeking candidates with demonstrated bookkeeping skills: QuickBooks experience, preparing financial reports, accrual-based accounting, assisting in the completion of annual audits. Organizational and technical skills are essential. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and driven to excel in a collegial and customer-focused environment.
Two or more years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial position
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse constituencies
Experience with payroll or benefits management is preferred
