The Vice President of Institutional Advancement is responsible for designing, executing, and monitoring comprehensive institutional advancement programs, including the annual fund, major gifts and planned giving, endowment, capital campaigns, alumni and constituent relations, and foundation and corporate relations.
This position requires a proven leader who is eager to participate and contribute to an organization that is making a significant difference in the lives of children, families, and the broader community. Further, the Vice President of Institutional Advancement is a leader who understands and appreciates collaboration, who will work closely with the Leadership Team to set strategic goals and advance the School’s mission and values, and who will represent the very best interests of Mid-Pacific and its core values.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 5 years senior level management experience in successful fund development. International experience preferred.
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with individuals of diverse ethnic, socioeconomic cultures, donors, administration, staff and volunteers. Strong proposal and grant writing ability is also key.
Demonstrated knowledge of personal computers, word processing, spreadsheets, Blackbaud databases, presentation graphics and computer fund raising systems. Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) designation desired but not required.
