This role will manage the finances of four new and growing primary radiology functions: radiology owned clinical trials, clinical trials involving radiology across all of the IUSM, radiology AI algorithm development projects, and destination research imaging contracts. This role will reside within the Office for Research Imaging and provides a good opportunity for growth at Indiana University.
Additional duties include:
Manage research accounts as assigned for post-award including invoicing, accounts receivable, and collections.
Responsible for the timeliness of invoicing and payment receipt, internal data tracking, and account reconciliation.
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in a business-related discipline with a financial and/or accounting focus.
Combinations of education and related experience may be considered.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office systems, specifically Excel or similar finance/accounting program. Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information.
Experience in clinical research. Grants and contract administration experience. Knowledge of clinical research budgetary and Medicare billing compliance issues and familiarity with scientific or medical terminology. Previous experience with the IU KFS accounting system.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Must be able to effectively use PC with keyboarding skills. Effectively communicate by telephone and in person. Extended periods of time using a computer.
