PMG COO team is the Operating Centre of Excellence for Product Management Group across all advisory offerings and asset classes. The team is responsible for Strategic initiatives, New products, Change and transformation including Advisory, Foundation and product execution, Operational Risk and control, and Business Management.
Reporting to the Head of Business Management and operations, your key focus would be on business management including financial analysis, operating plan, strategic projects, administrative functions, financial and other management support activities for the various PMG businesses. The role requires understanding of the business, strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate and influence to achieve objectives and deliver practical results.
Main Duties - Coordinate and support PMG senior management for execution of Work plan for PMG - Ownership of key process and frameworks such as product pipelines, trailer fees, distribution agreements, asset classification etc. - Manage relationship with Fund houses with focus on information required by fund houses on AML/ KYC/ Due D - Work with Sales teams to support product documentation and launches for key products - Conduct financial planning and sales management for PMG including tracking of expenses, hires, recruitment, KPI, product - Secretariat for selected management meetings and responsible for managing the tracking and closure of deliverables - Provide guidelines and streamline processes across PMG - Support senior management with ad hoc presentations for key meetings such as sales forum, off sites etc. - Represent the department in related departmental meetings within Bank of Singapore. - Coordinate and follow up on administrative activities related to general services (e.g. facilities planning, moves etc.)
Qualifications Work Experience Requirements - Relevant experience preferably within private banking and /or capital markets - Understanding of the managed investment / funds business as well as basic operational frameworks - Delivery focused and embracing challenges in a quickly changing, complex and uncertain environment. - Persuasive, persistent with high stress tolerance to manage stringent and moving deadlines. - Degree qualified with at least 6-8 years' experience; preference will be for candidates with good analytical skills, understanding of business/product matters in banking - Effective interpersonal, ability to influence and communication skills. - Well organized and can work independently
Education Requirements - Bachelors/Masters (preferable) degree from a reputable university
