The Campus Ministry Associate works as a member of the campus ministry team in developing, promoting, and carrying out various formation programs to further the faith growth and connect the total student in his religious formation. The Campus Ministry Associate also serves to help nurture the faith growth of the adult community. As a member of the campus ministry team, the Campus Ministry Associate will serve as coordinator of one or more programs, based on the gifts and talents brought to the team by the associate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, develop and organize service programs.
Recruit student and faculty leaders.
Coordinate travel/transportation, housing, and meal arrangements.
Coordinate training meetings to prepare faculty leaders.
Communicate with students and parents regarding program policy and procedures.
Evaluate programs in order to make improvements and coordinate follow-up opportunities.
Work with Campus Ministry Administrative Assistant on other communications / responsibilities.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Understands, embraces and implements the school's mission and philosophy.
Ability to speak effectively before students, families and/or employees of the school.
Ability to engage in teamwork and work cooperatively with others.
Bachelor’s degree in religious education/formation.
Experience in campus and/or parish ministry.
