Saint Ann’s School, an independent, non-sectarian day school enrolling 1090 students in pre-kindergarten through high school, seeks support in its human resources functions. The ideal candidate will be qualified to assist the Human Resource and Benefit Administrator and Dean of Faculty in day-to-day tasks. Centralize and coordinate all steps in the hiring process, including posting of positions, collection and review of resumes, scheduling, and notifications to applicants.
Respond to benefits questions and assist in the annual benefits renewal process.
Coordinate the generation and dissemination of annual employment contracts.
Liaison between the Human Resources, faculty, and administrative functions to ensure information flows smoothly across the organization.
Management of the HRIS, benefits and other databases.
Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.
Welcomes new employees to the organization by coordinating employee orientations.
Provides payroll information by collecting time and attendance records.
Submits employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data.
Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
1 – 3 years’ experience in human resources
Experience in independent schools and/or non-profit a plus
High proficiency working with Microsoft Office
High level of organization skills with an attention to detail and deadlines
Think logically, make decisions and solve problems
Maintain integrity and professionalism at all times
Communicate effectively with all constituents in a school environment
