Foxcroft School seeks a full time, experienced Director of Admission, who serves as the primary manager for the admissions team and is a key member of the enrollment team. The Director reports directly to the Director of Enrollment Management and assists the director in developing, executing, and evaluating the annual strategic recruitment and enrollment plan in order to meet the School’s enrollment goals. This position is responsible for strengthening and managing school relationships through leading off-campus recruitment events such as visits to feeder schools, fair attendance, barn visits, receptions, and visits with educational consultants; and travel for the department. The position is responsible for developing and managing on-campus recruitment events such as the open house, STEM events, applicant visits, and revisit events. Ultimately, the Director of Admissions helps enroll mission-appropriate students to Foxcroft School.
Working with the Director of Enrollment, this role will participate in prospect development and will manage application management. The Director of Admission will provide outstanding customer service to prospective and current school families in person, through written communication, through Skype, and telephone.
Admissions Team Management:
Serve as the primary manager for the admissions team.
Meet weekly with each member to provide feedback on their progress.
Provide the Director of Enrollment with a weekly funnel report and report on admissions activity. (visits, emails, calls, etc.)
Participate with the Director of Enrollment in a yearly evaluation of each team member.
Participate with the Leadership Team in strategic planning for domestic and international recruitment.
Serve as a contact for educational consultants and feeder schools and make yearly visits and calls to secondary school counselors.
Manage the recruitment and training for alumnae, parent, and staff participating in educational fairs or school visits.
Oversee the admissions process which includes: efficient handling of applications and documents, communications with students and their parents; scheduling interviews; arrangements for testing; requesting necessary student credentials; and maintaining admission records.
Present individual and team progress at weekly enrollment meeting.
Manage the Admissions Committee.
Sit on the Financial Aid Committee.
Marketing and Programming
Manage the admission open house and revisit programs.
Work with other departments to develop innovative on-campus programming that will engage prospective families and support enrollment.
Work with Director of Enrollment to develop road materials and communications plan for prospective students.
Post on behalf of Foxcroft School in a consistent, frequent, and appropriate manner with the goal to attract prospective students and parents.
Follow and assess social media of competitor groups.
Be a digital leader for Foxcroft School.
Designated SEVIS Officer
Serve as the Foxcroft DSO.
Work with PDSO to support international students.

Required: Bachelor’s degree.
Collegiate or K-12 level admissions experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Proficiency using technology applications including Admissions database, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Database management experience a plus.
All prospective employees must be able to clear a background and fingerprint check and TB screening.
