Trinity Episcopal School seeks a highly qualified receptionist for our front desk.

The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming visitors, students, and families entering the building or calling for assistance. Duties include: answering the main phone lines into the school, greeting the public, and handling student, family, and faculty issues throughout the day. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm. Additionally, there may be required attendance to other school events outside of normal business hours.
The Receptionist reports to the Assistant to the Head of School.
Manage and be present at the front desk
Manage security checkpoint sign-in for visitors
Monitor late student arrival and distribute passes to Middle School students
Monitor early departure of students
Answer the phone, forward calls, take and deliver messages for students
Record tardy students and provide list to Middle School receptionist by 9:00 am
Enter attendance in the Veracross system as necessary
Serve as a member of the Trinity Emergency Response Team (TERT)
Sort mail and arrange for delivery to other buildings
Receive packages and notify recipients and/or Facilities Department by email
Monitor Unity Hall workroom and order supplies through Facilities Department
Assist other departments (from front desk) as needed with approval from supervisor
High School Degree or G.E.D.
Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Spanish speaking a plus
At least two years prior related experience
Ability to multi-task in a fast moving environment
Demonstrated skill and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
Familiarity with school centric databases a plus
Licensed Notary a plus
Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion
Excellent people skills and flexibility required
