Position Summary: The Business Manager supports the faculty, administrators, and students of CSLA and MTSM. The incumbent provides administrative support for financial and personnel matters for all the departments within the College/School, and is responsible for providing a culture of responsible stewardship and sound fiscal management of the College/School's resources abiding by all applicable university policies and procedures. The Business Manager will also work closely with the Office of University Budgeting and Financial Planning, including regular meetings with the Director of the Office as well as other relevant unit-area directors and staff.
Prerequisite Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience. - Strong presentation and communication skills for the purposes of explaining financial issues to non-finance end users. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be excepted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
