Lincoln School is looking to hire a Full-Time Associate Director of Admission to join a team that plays an integral role in the recruitment, enrollment, and retention efforts for Nursery to Grade 12. This 12-month position has a key role in communicating and building relationships with prospective families and students for predominately the Middle School division, however, will be involved throughout our Nursery to Grade 12 enrollment efforts.
Additional duties include but are not limited to:
Responsible for cultivating relationships with area feeder schools in an effort to attract qualified applicants to Lincoln School. Duties include attending and managing school fairs, placement director visits, sharing considerable knowledge about Lincoln School to students, families, and school administrators.
Plan, organize, and execute admissions and special events as designated by and in collaboration with the Admission team; includes but is not limited to Open Houses, re-visit days, etc.
Create and manage initiatives to promote and attract candidates from Middle and Upper School divisions. Ensure best experience for applicant visit days, interview prospective student and parent(s), educate families about Lincoln School.
Communicate with families from inquiry process, through application, and into admission decisions.
Member of Admission Committee with the responsibility of making decisions of candidate's application for enrollment. Solid judgment and knowledge of institution's enrollment goals and mission is required.
Member of Communication and Admission teams with the responsibility for the development and implementation of a comprehensive and dynamic mission-based communication strategy.
The ability to independently manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must
Exceptional interpersonal skills
The ability to connect with multiple constituents including current and prospective families, students, colleagues, and sending schools
Strong computer skills
Minimum of two (2) years of admission experience or related experience
Bachelor's degree required
